Our Display is organised in compliance with the Local Authority Safety Advisory Group to ensure a successful, exciting and safe evening for all.

We are grateful for the help of Bucks Events Medics and our Security Team.

If you suffer any injury, please seek out the trained Ambulance staff at our First Aid Station, in the Marquee. They are always very pleased to help.

Please help us by being responsible and not crossing any barriers erected for your safety.

Also, for your own safety, we do not allow you to bring alcohol or your own fireworks to the event. This includes sparklers: they are too dangerous where there are crowds and excited children.

Please do not bring your dog to our Fireworks Event – although ‘Assist Dogs’ are permitted.

Wet Weather

Please note – the fireworks are not weather dependent – the display will proceed even in the event of rain.

Buy tickets in advance if possible

It speeds up your entry to the event and you get a 25% discount! Purchase them using the discount code for your participating local school and they will also benefit.

Allow plenty of time

The gates open from 5:00pm. The children’s bonfire will be lit at 5.30pm and the children’s firework display will start at 5.45pm. The main bonfire will be lit at 7:15pm and the main fireworks, synchronised to music, will be fired at 7:45pm. We recommend arriving as early as possible to allow plenty of time to park safely and make your way into the event. Please allow at least three quarters of an hour to park your car, walk to the gates and find a comfortable viewing location.

Clothing and footwear

Please wear warm clothing, especially young children. Coats, gloves, scarves etc. are recommended. Han warmers can also be useful.

Depending on the weather, on the day and preceding days, there may be mud in the cricket ground and surrounding areas, so please wear warm socks and boots or wellingtons.

Young Children

Arrive soon after the gates open, to allow plenty of time to park, visit the fairground and buy refreshments and glow toys. Do not risk missing the start of the bonfire or the fireworks by arriving too late. If you become separated from your child, seek help immediately from our security helpers in High Vis.

Torch

All areas within the venue will be lit. However, if possible, please also bring your own torch. Please be aware that the venues lights are switched off during the actual Fireworks Displays and then turned back on.

Car

Remember where you park your car.
